I can understand why you'd think that Walter is your site host, but actually it's my work. He's been a frequent contributor. One of his posts hit the front pages of Reddit and Fark. I've been neglecting Moronia for a while because I've been too busy with my commercial work for which I give great thanks, believe me.

Well, it's common in Ireland and in the USA. People who deviate from their roles, especially women, get reprimanded, especially from their dates. Try going to France, Germany, or Scandinavia, for example. Men there enjoy chivalry from women, even a woman helping a man pull his seat at a table, for example. Everything is equal in those countries, which is why American women love Western and Nordic European men, except Irish because they're more open minded.

BPA is not a hormone added to milk. From Wikipedia: Bisphenol A, commonly abbreviated as BPA, is an organic compound with two phenol functional groups. It is used to make polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins, along with other applications.

I, too, am upset at wasteful government spending (is there any other kind?) and likewise am "demanding to know why the psychologists... received $1.2m..." for something patently obvious and widely understood by those not so afflicted! I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.

The fact that this story ran in the rag titled, 'The Blaze' from Glenn Beck's arsenal of right wing media should be a clue that the story is just one example of cherry picking through the facts so that the agenda of Beck is being served. The OP's intent was to present the story without admitting that it can be attributed to Glenn beck and his incessant anti union diatribe, there is always two sides to every news event, but it's up to you to do the digging that would be necessary to find that balance in reporting, of course that means more reading and then weighing the opposing aspects to determine the truth and intent of what people are attempting to do in these kinds of protest incidents. Unions have made the major difference in our economic spread of wealth when compared to those nations and regions of the US that have succumbed to the notion that the boss really loves the worker and thus will do the right thing by them, this mantra of US corporatism is beginning to take hold in the ranks of our undereducated youth. Older American's are still capable of conjuring up the memories of those days when the workplace looked more like what Glenn Beck and others have portrayed as some kind of blissful state of harmony between labor and management, long hours, little pay, no retirement, no safety laws, child labor utilization, should this be the goal of American labor? No, but it was and could be again the goal of management. It should be noted that for all his shouting to the contrary Beck and other right wing prophets are in fact members of a union.
