(KDKA) Police used a Taser to subdue a man during a house fire in Westmoreland County. The fire marshal was called in to determine the cause of a fire that heavily damaged two homes in the 500-block of Green Street in North Belle Vernon. Damon Baker was tased by a Belle Vernon police sergeant. The sergeant pulled up to the fire scene and saw him trying to put the flames out. The sergeant ordered him to stop, but he refused to listen and the officer tased him.
“I was outside at the end of the garden trying to spray down the side of our house to keep it from spreading so rapidly,” he said.
