(Telegraph UK) Jon Basso, owner of the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona, claims that Iggy Lena and Bob Kutnick stole his idea of a restaurant specialising in high-cholesterol food when they created the Heart Stoppers Sports Grill in Delray Beach, Florida. Mr Basso’s lawsuit demands that the pair cease and desist-change their medical disaster theme or stop trading.

But a lawyer for Heart Stoppers insists that the two are “completely different”, noting that unlike the Arizona outpost, the Florida eatery’s menu does not include Single and Double Bypass hamburgers.

Robert Kain, a lawyer for Mr Basso, said the lawsuit counts about 30 similarities between the two restaurants, from the EKG heart monitor imagery on their logo to the free food offer for customers over 350 pounds.
